Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich Roy Bianco Punkte geben werde (überhaupt nicht mein Stil), aber du hast genau den einen Song erwischt, den ich gar nicht mal so schlecht finde und er passte auch sehr gut, da ich erst letzte Woche noch auf dem Brenner nach Italien unterwegs war ^^

Ich dachte zuerst, das wäre eine Nummer von Saint-Saëns oder so die ich noch nicht kenne

Die Frage „Woher kenne ich die Gitarrenmelodie?“ hat mir keine Ruhe gelassen. Zuerst war ich bei „Wicked Games“, das waren aber nur die Akkorde. Dann recherchiert und rausgefunden. dass am Anfang ein Mini Sample von Enola Gay drin ist. Über lange Umwege (Love is a shield u.ä.) kam mir irgendwann die Eingebung, dass eine Falsette-Stimme drin vorkam. Dann über die Commodores schließlich bei „Smalltown Boy“ von Bronski Beat gelandet. Bei 1:15 haben beide Stücke dieselbe Melodie (als Synthie bzw. Gitarre). So oder so: die Nummer wimmelt nur so vor 80er Anspielungen
Und außerdem bin ich Fan von Thievery Corporation <3
