Bei „SegaSonic The Hedgehog“ dachte ich, dass sei ein Tippfehler, aber das gab’s ja wirklich Von dem Arcade-Sonic hatte ich schon mal gehört, wusste nur den Namen nicht mehr. Oder habe es mit Sonic 3D Blast verwechselt, weil das auch eine isometrische Perspektive verwendet hat.

Die Erklärung für den seltsamen Namen klingt einigermaßen kurios (Wikipedia):
„The game’s title in development was simply Sonic the Hedgehog, but was changed to SegaSonic because Sega lost the Trademark to the Sonic-name during production. Kusunoki could not recall why it was disputed; however, according to video game journalist John Szczepaniak, Sega of America failed to turn in its paperwork for the trademark on July 13, 1993.“

Hab die Liste oben aktualisiert. Mittlerweile sind wir bei 66 Nominierungen. Street Fighter II Turbo hab ich als weitere Version von Street Fighter II aussortiert. Capcom hats mit dem Franchise aber auch echt übertrieben, wie viele Versionen des gleichen Spiels man verhökern kann. Ein paar solcher Versionen haben sich mit SSFII Turbo und SFIII 3rd Strike schon reingemogelt in die anderen Turniere… Die Benennung machts auch nicht leichter: Name Release Street Fighter 1987-08-30 Stree…

Super Mario All Stars ist doch nur eine Spielesammlung mit grafischen Updates, das hätte nicht drin sein müssen.

Und in derselben Gruppe dümpelt Gunstar Heroes, eines der besten Run 'n Guns der Videospielgeschichte, auf dem vorletzten Platz

Habe die RoboCop Games auf dem Amiga gespielt und Terminator auf dem Mega CD. Letzteres kam wie das Crossover von Virgin, war Mittelmaß, hatte immerhin einen starken Soundtrack. RoboCop vs The Terminator sieht ähnlich mittelprächtig aus, die Maniac hat’s damals mit 44% abgestraft, vermutlich habe ich’s deshalb nie gespielt. Zu der Zeit gab es einfach schon zu starke Konkurrenz.
