Bei mir ähnlich. Erst kannte ich nur ne Demo, als ich dann die Vollversion mal in die Finger bekommen habe, hab ich leider nicht sehr weit gespielt, weil es entweder ziemlich schwer war - oder dies nur, weil ich in Gebieten gelandet war, für die ich noch zu schwach war. Dazu hab ich mich ständig verlaufen. 
Aber irgendwie hab ich regelmäßig schon Bock, noch mal nen vernünftigen Versuch zu starten.

Hol dir am Anfang auf jeden Fall die Laserpistole und die gratis Essensrationen in der Kantine vom Raumschiff, das macht dir den Anfang deutlich leichter.

Welche Version möchtest du nominieren? Die Sega Game Gear kam am 16.02 raus, die Sega Genesis im Januar. Nach Wikipedia sind die grundverschieden. Wurden wie bei vielen Handheld-Spielen nur zusammen vermarktet und teilen zum Beispiel gleiche Cover und Levelthematiken.
Oh das wusste ich gar nicht. Dann nehme ich die Genesis/Mega Drive Version.

Bis auf Simon the Sorcerer II: The Lion, the Wizard and the Wardrobe das am 01.11.1994 erschienen ist und ich mir für das Jahr notiert habe, ist jetzt alles oben notiert. Damit wären wir gesamt bei 85 Spielenominierungen.

Ich muss aber sagen, dass der letzte Satz in dem Artikel etwas uneindeutig klingt. Es könnte sein, dass die am Ende doch nicht im Jahr 1994 veröffentlicht haben, aber fürs Weihnachtsgeschäft schon mal die Vorbestellungen ankurbeln wollten…
Aktuell ist die Faktenlage für 1994 nur dieses Magazin. Für 1995 spricht aber folgendes Interview vom Mai 1995, wo noch von einem nicht abgeschlossenen Entwicklungsprozess gesprochen wird.
Würde es dann wohl doch für 1995 rein nehmen und den Wikipedia-Artikel korrigieren.

Lieben Dank für die Recherche und für die Anpassung! Die Quellen online, die ich gefunden habe, nennen ebenso 1995 als Release.
Ich war leider zu jung und hatte erst 2 Jahre später meinen ersten PC. Vielleicht gibt’s ja noch Zeitzeugen hier 
Primärquellen findest du online für alles vor 2005 nur sehr schwer. Selbst Archive.org ist da in seiner Datenlage unvollständig. Solange alle das gleiche sagen, nehm ich meist das von Wikipedia und muss gar nicht so lang recherchieren.
Da die Info zu Simon 2 zu 1994 von nem PC-Magazin ist und das zu 1995 von nem Amiga CD32-Magazin, auf dem es am Ende nie erschienen ist, ist der Fall für mich auch zu unklar, als dass ich den Wikipedia-Eintrag „korrigieren“ würde.
Diese Magazine sind ja häufig eher Vorbestellungs- und Marketingwerkzeuge gewesen.
So fühl ich mich dann meist am Ende:

In diesem Fall gäbe es noch ein Indiz: Die offizielle Seite der Entwickler. Ja die gibts tatsächlich noch und sieht erstmal nicht sehr vertrauenswürdig aus - Adventure Soft Games
Die haben aber auch einen eigenen Onlineshop und dort hab ich mir vor Jahren Simon 1 und 2 in der Box gesichert. Hat auch alles ohne Probleme geklappt.
Aber ja stimme dir zu, vor 2005 wirds schwierig und 99% der Entwicklerseiten sind verschwunden und Quellenlage eher dürftig.

Zumindest Terranigma dominiert zu Recht die Konkurrenz.

Chrono Trigger gegen Vollgas ist für mich echt ein brutales Duell. Bei beiden hatte ich sehr viel Spaß, könnten aber kaum unterschiedlicher sein.
