Platzierung nach Gesamtstimmen
Ein paar Überraschungen gab es bei den Gesamtstimmen. Gleich am Anfang auf Platz 1 fechtet Age of Empires die Siegerehrung an und holt sich den Platz mit 7 zusätzlichen Gesamtstimmen . Ein gutes Pferd springt nur so hoch wie es muss denkt sich Final Fantasy VII. Auf der anderen Seite der Top 32 teilen sich Street Fighter III und FIFA: Road to World Cup 98 den Platz 32. Da Street Fighter jedoch etwas weiter vorangeschritten ist im Turnier, sichert es sich den Einzug ins Großturnier. Ansonsten verteilen sich die Spiele in etwa so, wie man es erwarten sollte. Je weiter ein Spiel im Turnier gekommen ist, desto mehr Stimmen hat es auch bekommen.
