Toy Story habe ich gerade übersehen. Gut aufgepasst!

Es ist am 22.11.1999 erschienen. Werde ich also für das Jahr noch notieren. :beannote:

Es gibt sogar zwei Spiele namens Toy Story 2 die 1999 erschienen sind:
Toy Story 2 (22.11.1999) für Gameboy Color
Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue (22.11.1999) für PC, PlayStation und Nintendo 64

Solche parallele Veröffentlichung von unterschiedlichen Spielen mit gleichem Namen gab es öfter (erinnere mich da an diverse Spiderman-Spiele) und würde ich in zwei unterschiedlichen Einträgen antreten lassen. Auch wenn teils von einer Portierung gesprochen wird, sind es von Grund auf andere Spiele, nur zusammen vermarktet. Kann man dann aber zu dem jeweiligen Turnier per Umfrage entscheiden.

Bin mir bei Realms of the Haunting nicht ganz sicher über den Release. IGDB, wo ich mir gerade die Cover hergeholt hab, gibt den 31.12.1996 als Release an. Bei GOG und Steam wird ebenso als Original Releasedatum der 31.12.1996 angegeben. Da die ältesten Referenzen auf Wikipedia auf Seiten mit Release Date 1996 verweisen, würde ich das Spiel verschieben, wenns dir nix ausmacht @BigDen.

Qualifikation

Die Nominierungsphase ist vorbei und wir können mit insgesamt 136 Spielen aus dem Jahr 1997 in das Turnier starten. Es geht wie immer los mit der Qualifikation, in der ihr jedem Spiel, das ihr in der Gruppenphase sehen wollt, eine Stimme vergeben dürft. Die 128 mit den meisten Stimmen kommen weiter. :beanmampf:

Ihr habt bis mindestens den 20.11 um 20:00 Uhr Zeit eure Stimmen abzugeben.

Ich weiß nicht wie ausser durch Geisterhand, aber irgendwie hat sich in der Umfrage 3 anstelle von Redneck Rampage der für 1996 vorgesehene Titel Realms of the Haunting reingeschlichen. Ich weiß echt nicht wie, da ich die Daten aus der gleichen Spalte ziehe, wie für die Auflistung mit den Covers. Und aktuell sieht die Tabellle auch korrekt aus. Spooky stuff, i tell you.

Das dürfte für mich FIFA 2002 gewesen sein. Die Intro Musik hat sich mir da auch ins Hirn gebrannt. :beanjoy:

Das FIFA habe ich auch rauf und runter gespielt. Das einzige FIFA, in das ich richtig Zeit investiert habe. Der Hallenmodus hat einfach Bock gemacht und dann immer schön Zola im Vereinsfußball gekauft, langer Ball nach vorne bis kurz vor den Straufraum und Volley reingezimmert. In 8 von 10 Fällen Tor.

Da wir in diesem Turnier mit 2 Gruppenphasen spielen, hält sich die Anzahl der disqualifizierten Spielen und auch die benötigte Anzahl an Stimmen fürs Weiterkommen in Grenzen.

Sehe ich ähnlich. Ich hab beim Erstellen der Gruppe erstmal gedacht, dass das nicht richtig sein kann, aber tatsächlich sind 50% der zufällig ausgewählten Spiele aus den Polepositions und die anderen aus der unteren Reihe. Schade um Klonoa. Ich glaube aber auch ohne so Spiele wie Fallout, Final Fantasy VII und Final Fantasy Tactics wäre ein Weiterkommen in die Gruppenphase #2 schwer geworden.

Ich fühle mit dir. Gruppe 9 ist einfach brutal. Mishief Makers ist so ein knuffiges Spiel, bei dem ich gehofft hatte, das es weit kommt, aber in der Gruppe natürlich null Chancen.

Ich bin gepannt und bete dafür, dass die Snowboard Kids die Runde überleben. Die drei großen Fs (Fallout, FFVII und FF Tactics) müssten ja, was die Legacy der Spiele angeht, schon fast gesetzt sein. Die sind gemeinhin als Videospielmeilensteine angesehen. Alle anderen prügeln sich unter Zuhilfenahme der Nostalgiestimmen um Platz 4.
