Dass Bully nicht weiter gekommen ist, ist auch ein Skandal /

Gears of War ist für mich das beste Spiel 2006, eines der besten Actionspiele überhaupt. Habe deswegen die Xbox360 gekauft und das war allein grafisch ein solcher Quantensprung im Vergleich zur Vorgänger-Generation. Und jetzt im Sechzehntelfinale (!) raus

Ergebnis Viertelfinale

Wir stehen kurz vorm Finale. Und die Luft wird langsam knapp. Im ersten Duell blieb Titan Quest gegenüber The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion die Puste weg, während Oblivion schon auf dem Weg zum Olymp ist.

Auch die gesamten Klonarmeen aus Star Wars: Empire at War konnten sich Gordon Freeman nicht erwehen und ließen Half-Life 2: Episode One passieren, nachdem der letzte AT-Strider zu Boden ging.

Der Winter ist gekommen und hat einen Sturm ins nächste Duell gebracht. Doch als sich dieser legte, fuhr Neverwinter Nights 2 zielgerichtet an dem Schiffbrüchigen Anno 1701 vorbei ins Halbfinale.

„Balrog, du bist dran“, war das letzte was Pokémon Diamond and Pearl vor dem Ende im Duell mit The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II hörte und beim nächsten Pokecenter aufwachte.

Ergebnis Halbfinale

In zwei sehr knappen Duellen musstet ihr euch für die Finalkontrahenten entscheiden. Im ersten dieser Duelle ging es mit The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion gegen die Forgotten Realms aus Neverwinter Nights 2. Mit all den Feinden an jeder Ecke, war zweiterem jedoch jede Full Rest vergönnt und wurde ins Oblivion gestoßen.

Im Duell mit Half-Life 2: Episode One erging es The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II ähnlich wie zuvor Star Wars. Bereits das zweite große Franchise im Strategiegewand konnte sich nicht gegen Gordon Freeman mit seiner Gravitygun erwehren.

Damit geht es nun weiter ins Finale.

Ich hab nur von denen Skyrim Oblivion gespielt, aber das wär für mich kein verdientes Spiel des Jahres.

Was Episode One zum Verhängnis werden könnte ist die Spielzeit von höchstens vier Stunden bei sehr wenig Wiederspielwert. Aber auf der kurzen Zeit ist es absolut großartig.
