Grafikkarte stirbt an Altersschwäche

Hey Leute, meine Nvidia GTX 670 gibt langsam aber doch den Geist auf. Ja sie ist ur alt, hat aber bislang gute Dienste getan. Jetzt hats angefangen, dass der PC immer mal wieder die Grafikkarte nicht mehr erkennt Ich nehm mal an, dass sie einfach nicht mehr kann. Habt ihr Empfehlungen für eine gute aber günstige Grafikkarte für ein bescheidenes Geldbörserl?

Servus, am besten du beschreibst einmal, was du mit deiner Grafikkarte zocken bzw. arbeiten willst.
Interessant wären auch noch die restlichen Settings deines PC´s und wie viel Geld du so ca. für eine neue Graka ausgeben möchtest.

Also, prinzipiell soll der PC für meine Schreibarbeiten und zum üblichen Zocken genutzt werden. Was ich so zocke ist ziemlich unterschiedlich, Minecraft, Football Manager 19, Fifa, Mass Effect 3, Borderlands 2, Civilization 6 sind so Spiele die ich aktuell spiele. Hatte dabei bislang auch nie Probleme was Grafik usw angeht.
Hab einen Medion Stand-PC mit i7 Prozessor, Win10, 64Bit
Wegen Preis, keine Ahnung was realistisch ist, aber ich hoff dass ich mit um die 200-300€ einigermaßen klar komm. Weil wenn teurer zahlts sich schon kaum mehr aus

Kannst du die Komponenten etwas genauer beschreiben? Bei so komplett PCs ist oftmals das Netzteil gerade so ausreichend für die mitgelieferten Komponenten.

700W ist ausreichend groß für fast alles. Glaub im Moment sollte ne Radeon RX Vega 56 (Pro: 8GB Videospeicher, Kontra: Hoher Stromverbrauch) oder ne GTX 1660 Ti (Geringer Stromverbrauch, Kontra: nur 6GB Videospeicher) so das beste in deiner Preisklasse sein.

/edit: Hat der PC nur 8GB RAM? Vllt solltest du da auch mal aufstocken. Das könnte schnell zum Flaschenhals werden.

nein Ram aufrüsten würde ich bei so einer alten CPU nicht mehr machen.
Ist geldverschwendung find ich.
Dann lieber das geld beiseite legen und für ein richtiges CPU ubgrade sparen.

Hast du die möglichkeit die Karte auch woanders zu testen ?
weil Medion als Mainboardhersteller ist auch nicht so pralle.
Deshalb könnte es ja auch sein das dass mainboard ne macke hat.

Desweiteren würde ich Auslagerungsdateien deaktivieren , es sei den du hast eine anwendung die mit 8GB Ram nicht auskommt.
Auslagerungsdatei bedeutet , dass die festplatte als RAM fungiert.
Die Festplatte ist aber deutlich langsammer als richtiger RAM . und du kannst nie entscheiden / wissen welche art von RAM gerade verwendet wird.
Sprich es ist zufall ob dein spiel zb. gerade den richtigen ram nimmt oder den festplatten ram.
Das spürt man auch in der performance.

Und willst du eine gebrauchte Grafikkarte kaufen oder eine neue ?

Wüsste nicht wie ich das woanders testen soll. Woran erkenn ich dass es am Mainboard liegt? Bin mir ehrlich gesagt bei der Grafikkarte relativ sicher, weil sie mein PC nicht immer erkennt, muss dann den PC 1-2 mal neu starten, dann läuft sie wieder.
Ich weiß noch nicht so wirklich welche Grafikkarte ich will. Ein Freund würde mir die Tage seine alte überlassen, weil er sich nen neuen PC zusammenbastelt, weiß allerdings nicht welche das ist und ob die gut und kompatibel ist, bzw ob sie als Lösung bis zur PC-Pension (will den PC noch 1-2 Jahre halten, dann kauf ich mir wahrscheinlich notwendigerweise einen neuen)

kompatibel sollte kein problem sein.
Wenn dann die Baugröße , dass die karte evtl nicht ins gehäuse passt.

Naja aber wenn kommunikation zwischen mainboard und graka nicht klappt könnte es ja auch das mainboard sein.

Aber das wirst du ja dann mit der Karte deines freundes feststellen können.

eben das denke ich auch, sie muss halt noch zumindest ne Woche oder so durchhalten. Hab in der Zwischenzeit eh schon alles wichtige gesichert und backups gemacht für den fall der Fälle, was ich nicht glaub, dass der so akkut eintritt. Ich weiß nur eins, hab mich heut nach der Arbeit geärgert, weil im gesamten Bezirk es keinen einzigen Shop gibt, in dem ich Kühlerpaste und nen Druckluftspray kaufen konnte und das obwohls ein Speckgürtelbezirk ist -.-

16GB DDR3 bekommt man für unter 50€ auf ebay & Co. Wenn der PC noch 1-2 Jahre halten soll, dann kann man das schon mal investieren. Hab es mit meiner alten Gurke auch gemacht und 16GB sind einfach ein riesen Sprung was Multitasking angeht. Wenn er ne neue CPU will, brauch er ja auch noch ein neues MB und vllt sogar ein neues Gehäuse. Was dann sehr viel teuerer werden würde.
Es kommt natürlich auf das Spiel/Anwendung an, aber ich sehe kein Grund warum er mit seiner jetzigen CPU nicht noch ne Weile auskommen sollte. Die ist ja meist als allerletztes für nen Flaschenhals verantwortlich. Im Notfall kann er die CPU auch immer noch übertakten. Je nach Kühler sollte er sie auf 4,2Hz oder mehr hoch bekommen können.

Naja bei nem intel 3. Gen seh ich den flaschenhals schon kommen.
Ich finde es halt ab eines gewissen alters nicht mehr allzu sinnvoll noch geld in technik zu stecken.
UNd selbst wenn der ram nur 30€ kostet das bringt dann wirklich nur noch dieses 1 jahr was .
danach ist es totes geld quasi.

Aber das muss er halt selber wissen ob es sich für ihn lohnt da noch geld rein zu stecken.
Ich würds halt nicht machen und lieber sparen.

Bei der Graka ist es egal weil er diese ja mit in den neuen Pc nehmen kann.

ist jetz vielleicht ne blöde frage, aber kann man die Leistung von zwei Grafikkarten gekoppelt nutzen bei nem PC?
